Flooring from Airloom - what we do and how we do it.

Airloom sells vinyl products; we do not install. The stock is held in a warehouse in Cape Town. Delivery rates are calculated with dispatch from or return to Cape Town.

Airloom has worked with some installers for a number of years. These installers may be recommended to assist you with your installation. Please note that Airloom provides this recommendation in good faith based on past experience with the installer(s). This is not a guarantee of future success and Airloom does not profit at all from the recommendation.

You may have noticed that you cannot simply add flooring products to your cart and check out. This is for a few reasons:

• Your quantity of flooring required is never the exact amount of square metres in your room; we always have to apply wastage, box quantities and other factors.
• Flooring is heavy and expensive to move around! We want to ensure you get the right product for your space.
• To process an order of vinyl sheeting, we often cut the customer’s requirements from a mother-roll. This amounts to customising the order and thus falls outside many of the standard provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.

Airloom sells two types of vinyl flooring:

VINYL SHEETING

Vinyl sheeting is ideal for the quick fix in your home, especially for those with handy(wo)man skills. The product comes in rolls and is cut from the roll to the requirements of the customer. The product is glued to the sub-floor.

LUXURY VINYL PLANKS (Glue-down)

Luxury vinyl planks are glued directly to a sub-floor. Airloom does not promote the ‘click’ version of these products. The product is boxed, with specific box box quantities varying depending on the individual plank size. A professional installer should install this product.
